Nike Literary Award longlist

We are pleased to announce that four authors of Wydawnictwo Literackie have been longlisted for the Nike award this year. They are:

Urszula Koziol for her volume of poetry Clang,

Olga Tokarczuk for the novel The Books of Jacob,

Szczepan Twardoch for his novel Drach

and Ignacy Karpowicz for the novel Sonya.

All aforementioned titles are represented for translation rights by Wydawnictwo Literackie (we are co-representing rights to Olga Tokarczuk’s works with the author). Some translations are already in the making and will be published abroad soon, namely The Books of Jacob in Israel, Sweden, Czech Rupublic, Serbia and France, Drach will be out in Germany and Sonya in Ukraine, Belarus and in the United States.
