Małgorzata Rejmer

Małgorzata Rejmer (b. 1985) is
a writer, journalist, reporter. In 2009 she
was nominated for the Gdynia Literary
Award and the Award of the Polish Society
of Book Publishers for her novel Toksymia.
In 2013 she published the collection of
reportage Bucharest. Dust and Blood,
for which she received the Teresa
Torańska Newsweek Award, the Gryfia
Literary Award for a Female Writer and
the Guarantee of Culture Award of the TV
station TVP Kultura. She has also been
nominated for the Nike Literary Award,
the Polityka Passport award and the Beata
Pawlak award. For her third book Mud
Sweeter than Honey she was awarded
the Polityka Passport, the Kościelski
Foundation Award and the Amber
Butterfly. She has been published in
multiple important magazines, including
Duży Format, Polityka, Gazeta Wyborcza,
and Herito. She received a scholarship
from the Minister of Culture and National
Heritage and the programme Young
Poland from the National Centre of
Culture. She lives in Warsaw.
