Aleksandra Gumowska

(b. 1979) is a journalist who has ties with Poland’s foremost papers, including Gazeta Wyborcza and Newsweek. In 2014 she published a hit book: Sex, Betel, and Magic: The Sex Life of Savages One Hundred Years Later, in which she described her journey in the footsteps of a famous expedition made by Bronisław Malinowski (National Geographic Polska called it the travel book of the year).
